To Begin at the Beginning

This is a cinematic portrait of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. It was commissioned to be shown in New York as part of a ceremony awarding Catherine Zeta-Jones with an honorary doctorate. The event was held to raise scholarship funding for young Americans to study at the RWCMD in Cardiff.

I created a poem using extracts from works by British and Irish authors to create a new poem that explores the struggles and joy of mastering your creative craft. This poems was performed by current American students at the college.
